Gay Adoptions
The issue with Gay Adoptions has been around for decades. It's seems while they still struggle for the equality of being allowed to marry one another, the issue of a couple or one person adopting a child because of his or her sexual perference (weather it be gay or lesbian) is still another issue that cannot be seemed to be resolved. 14 Countries around the world have legalized the adoption of children (or stepchildren) by same sex couples; what's keeping us behind here in the U.S. from doing so? Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, South Africa, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and Uruguay + a few more countries have legalized same sex adoptions.

  1. WBUR 90.9 is a radio station in Boston. This article dates back to 2006 and is a transcript of a show that discussed gay adoptions. I can argue that the transcripts listed battle for both sides (objection to gay adoptions and in favorof same sex adoptions). There's always two sides to every story, and in this interview they have 4 different people discussing the topic. Of course; no one is judgemental, and no side says whether one side is right or wrong.

2. Slate Magazine is an online web magazine that discusses general-interests like politics, news, business, e.g. This article discussed and gives examples/views of both sides (opposing and favor) on same sex adoption.
